We are seeking a for an Mechanical Design Engineer to join our evolving team!
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be a key player in our R&D team, responsible for designing, prototyping, and optimizing mechanical systems across multiple product lines. You’ll cover the whole spectrum mechanical design from optronics design to electromechanical assemblies, ensuring robustness, manufacturability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle mechanical development from concept to production, including ECO processes and documentation.
- Drive product evolution through new generations, modifications, and field issue resolution.
- Design, prototype, and validate solutions while optimizing components for performance and manufacturability.
- Create and maintain all technical drawings, specifications, and testing protocols.
- Manage multiple projects with complete ownership, solving complex mechanical challenges.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver integrated, production-ready solutions.
Required Qulifications
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical design.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Affinity to Electro-Optics realm.
- Background in manufacturing techniques — CNC, sheet metal, mold design, and 3D printing.
- Self-starter mentality— you take initiative, solve problems independently, and drive projects forward.
- Deep familiarity and experience with EMI compliant design, optics integration, sealing and heat dissipation techniques.
- Deep familiarity with mechanical components (gears, motors, seals, etc.) and material selection.
- Background in defining and selecting complex motion systems.
- Experience designing mechanisms and enclosures for harsh environments, from concept to production.
- Experience with military standards (emphasizing 810 and 461).
